Tips and Tricks Tuesday

Now that the holidays are over, we are back to our regularly scheduled Tips and Tricks Tuesday!  I've been having this "crazy" desire to get my home more organized.  Every room in my home needs a little help in the organizing department, so I'm on the search for ideas to make that happen-cheaply! That's what today's Tips and Tricks is all about.

* If you're new here, welcome to Lewisville!  Today is Tips and Tricks Tuesday! It's a good day to visit here.  I like finding simple solutions to everyday living and sharing some of my favorite tips with you all!  You can find most of these tips on my  Pinterest Tips and Tricks board, where I'd also love to have you follow along.  There's always facebook and twitter too.  If you want to pin these tips on your own board, just click {source} below each picture.  It will take you to the original source of the tip, and it's always best to pin from the original source.

Tip 1.  Every Friday I clean out and fill my fridge after my weekly shopping trip.  Every Friday, I tell myself I need better fridge organizers.  Using a Lazy Susan in the fridge never crossed my mind.  What a great way to get those rarely used bottles together and out of the way.

Tip 2.  I really need this.  What do you do with your lids? Sometimes I stack them on top of one another; sometimes I put them on the pots and pans themselves, but then I run out of cabinet space.  You can use a magazine rack or this lid organizer from Ikea. This, this is my answer!

Tip 3.  Yes, as a matter of fact, I am addicted to coffee.  It's always coffee O'clock at my house.  Hot coffee, iced coffee, I love it all! I think this is such a great idea, especially when you're having friends over for a cup of java.  Use a cup cake stand for all your coffee items.  It saves space and looks great.

Tip 4.  For those of you who are blessed with snow during the winter, you know how quickly the scarves, hats, and gloves can take over.  Use a curtain rod or tension rod with curtain rings to hang all that winter gear.

Tip 5.  Tension rods are a great way to organize, but you can't always place them in between walls or cabinets, can you.  Here's a great solution to that problem, use 3M adhesive wall hooks.  The possibilities are endless here.

Can you use any of these tips and tricks?  I'm thinking just about all of them will be making it into Lewisville soon.  Have a great day, friends.

Blessings,
Lisa
